DIRECTIONS

The Podhale State College of Applied Sciences  is located in Nowy Targ – the historic capital of the Podhale Region. Podhale is located on the Dunajec river at the foot of the Tatra and Gorce Mountains in the South of Poland.

There are three national parks in the vicinity of Nowy Targ and it is an excellent base and starting point for excursions to the Gorce, Pieniny and Tatra Mountains or Babia Góra. The biggest town near Nowy Targ is Zakopane (24 km) to the South, Kraków to the North (c. 90 km), Szczawnica to the East (c. 50 km) and Zawoja to the West (c. 60 km). Some of the villages in the surroundings are: Białka Tatrzańska, Bukowina Tatrzańska, Ludźmierz and Witów.

From the centre of Nowy Targ go to Kościuszki Street and then over a bridge on the Czarny Dunajec to Tischner round-about where you should take the first exit and continue to Pilecki round-about and after you have taken the second exit road you continue along Kokoszków Street to the PPWSZ. The building of the College will be on your left, 71Kokoszków Street.
